FAQ for ordinance codification

Web Site Fee
The annual fee for web site hosting is $250.00 per calendar year. This fee is prorated at the time TPA starts the codification process through December 31st of that year. Your municipality would then receive a $250.00 invoice in December of the current year for the following year.

The web site link will also have the ability to place people on an email list and TPA will then send a PDF file of each new supplement as it is released.

Electronic File Creation
The following price-per-page costs are used for estimating purposes and each case is reviewed and quoted with a fixed-cost bid:

If we create an electronic book from an existing, unformatted text file, an initial one-time fee of $3.00 per original page of the current Municipal Code book, is charged to create a new electronic ordinance book. To update paper-based ordinances to an electronic ordinance book, there is an initial one-time fee of $5.00 per original page of the current Municipal Code book.

New Binders
If new ordinance books are required, we can supply you with customized three-ring binders with color cover slip sheets. Pricing for this service is available on request.

Hidden Fees
TPA has no hidden fees in our pricing.

Reference
If you would like a reference to the quality of our work and our turnaround time, you can contact Mr. Joe Nohl, the city clerk at the Village of Morton. Morton switched to TPA years ago to provide them codification services because of slow turnaround times (up to 3 months). Mr. Nohl has been extremely happy with our services and has given his permission for other city clerks and/or administrators to contact him as a reference.

Ownership of Electronic Files
All electronic files are considered property of your municipality at all times. At any time and for any reason, we will send you any requested files.
