Gene is responsible for writing, and creating procedure manuals.

background:
Gene worked for Kress Corporation, an Engineering company, for over 40 years in many different capacities which gave him an opportunity to understand how work processes can affect several different areas of a business.  Some of his experiences included Welder, Machine Assembler, Technical Writer, Trainer (In-House & On-Site), Publications Manager, Customer Service, Vehicle Final Inspector and Web Portal administrator.  He has extensive experience in creating troubleshooting documentation as well as working with customers over the phone to diagnose problems with their equipment.

hobbies/interests:
Avid golfer – will always be classified as a Duffer, but enjoys the challenges and camaraderie that the game provides.

Gene enjoys a good laugh, at himself or with others.  He is especially tickled when he can bore his family to tears with details about how something works or has been assembled.

Since 1985, Gene and his wife, Cheryl, have been highly involved with a Christian Ministry called United Marriage Encounter.  It is an International, non-denominational, Christian group that provides a weekend experience for married couples to gain the tools to strengthen and refresh their marriage relationship.  Gene & Cheryl have had the privilege to present weekends in  Hong Kong, Taiwan and in many areas of the US.
Gene enjoys helping maintain the family farm where he was born and raised just northeast of Brimfield, IL.  The goal is to leave it in better shape than when God entrusted it to them.

Gene & Cheryl have been part of a Pinochle Card club consisting of four couples who meet once a month to play cards and have a good time of fellowship.  He enjoys a variety of card and board games as it provides good interaction with friends and family.
